Designing the new standard for short-term letting

From Airbnb to VRBO, Guesthoo provides an end-to-end management service designed for stress-free everyday running of short-term lets. They approached Rhombus to reinvigorate their brand and digital presence to better reflect who they are today, compared to when they started.

What hasn’t changed during this time is the fact that they treat it just like they would their own – because that’s how they started. It was key to move their brand forward without losing core values and story.

Starting as holiday homeowners themselves, Guesthoo have a deeper appreciation of what it means to let out a home, so this was harnessed from the outset. We developed a direct but warm tone of voice informed by an overarching brand strategy titled ‘It’s more than a property’, centered around the people they support and the places they call home.

The new logo is an evolution of the brand’s original mark. Now clearly representative of a G, house and key. The cool, calm palette instantly puts you at ease, paired with Area Normal as the brand typeface. The clean sans serif has a modern tech feel but with human personality, encompassing Guesthoo’s promise of balancing smart-tech with a personal touch.
